Several positions are available for the 2024 season for dependable, motivated individuals in both our Landscape Construction and Maintenance Divisions.
2024 Open Positions
LANDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN
This position is currently seasonal/hourly, but salaried positions are available to the well qualified candidate. The Landscape Construction Foreman is responsible for assuring the proper, efficient and timely completion of various types of landscape projects.

This position is currently seasonal/hourly with the potential for winter employment assisting with snow and ice removal and construction work depending on weather. Landscape Construction Crew Members are responsible for assisting in the completion of landscape and hardscape installations.
Requirements:
This position is currently seasonal/hourly with the potential for winter employment assisting with snow and ice removal and maintenance work depending on weather. Landscape Maintenance & Turf Technicians are responsible for the proper care and upkeep of landscape plants, beds and turf on both residential and commercial sites. This includes Spring & Fall clean-ups, pruning, weeding, mowing, plant and turf fertilization, and pest and disease control.
Requirements:
MOWING CREW
This position is currently seasonal/hourly with the potential for winter employment assisting with snow and ice removal and maintenance work depending on weather. Mowing Crew members will assist the Maintenance Crews with Spring Clean Ups until the turf grass starts growing, at which point they will be following a specifed weekly mow route. They will do Property Leaf Clean Ups at the end of the season.

- Direct activities on the job site which include but are not limited to: coordinating work flow, hands on work, and operating a variety of machinery
- Manage personnel effectively and efficiently
- Communicating production goals (and other items) with crew members, supervisors, and clients
- Coordinate field operations with office personnel and management
- Train and promote the development of crew members in the best practices of installation and company standards
- Monitor all tools, equipment and machinery for needed maintenance
- Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times
- 3+ years experience of leading a crew in a similar position
- Proficient heavy equipment operating skills including front-end loaders, mini-excavators, skid steer machinery with various attachments, and other construction equipment as needed
- Extensive knowledge and experience in installing a variety of hardscape applications
- Basic knowledge of perennials, shrubs, evergreens, and trees
- Highly motivated, self-driven individual who is detail orientated
- Excellent attention to detail while working in a fun and fast-paced environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work effectively with individuals of differing knowledge and backgrounds (e.g. coworkers, clients, subcontractors, vendors)
- Clean and professional appearance, punctual and dependable
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
Required License or Certification:
- Valid & Insurable Drivers License
- ICPI Certification
This position is currently seasonal/hourly with the potential for winter employment assisting with snow and ice removal and construction work depending on weather. Landscape Construction Crew Members are responsible for assisting in the completion of landscape and hardscape installations.
Requirements:
- 1+ years prior experience in a similar hardscape position
- Basic machine operating skills including front end loaders, mini-excavators, and skid steer
- Other construction equipment as needed (e.g. cut-off saw)
- Reliable transportation to/from work
- Must be able to follow direction from supervisors and work with fellow team members
- Ability to communicate in English
- Work outside in inclement weather
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
This position is currently seasonal/hourly with the potential for winter employment assisting with snow and ice removal and maintenance work depending on weather. - Knowledge of proper horticultural techniques, maintenance, and care
- Ability to identify regional perennials, shrubs and trees
- Be able to perform Integrated Pest management (IPM) using mechanical, organic and chemical controls
- Experience with standard landscape tools & equipment and their proper maintenance (e.g. blowers, pruners, zero-turn mowers, weed wackers)
- Ability to communicate in English
- Work outside in inclement weather
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
MOWING CREW
This position is currently seasonal/hourly with the potential for winter employment assisting with snow and ice removal and maintenance work depending on weather. - 1 year experience in similar situation
- Familiarity with the use and proper care of zero turn mowers {Ex-mark, Toro}, weed whackers and backpack blowers
- Ability to communicate in basic English
- Work outside in inclement weather
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
